Certificate of Entitlement

A certificate of Entitlement is prepared by the DVA in respect of every registration number sold. It authorizes a DVA Vehicle Licensing Office to assign the registration number to a vehicle registered in the name of the person to whom it is issued, or that of a nominee if specified. The Certificates of Entitlement will be released within 21 days of date of payment being received and funds cleared.
