Our extremely popular Cherished Registration Auctions provide a unique opportunity to add that distinctive, exclusive final touch of individuality to your vehicle.

Auctions held each year on behalf of the DVA at our Belfast Auction Complex. Seven Sales are held in total throughout the year – three by public auction & a further 4 by way of private tender. Each Cherished Registration Auction features around 350 numbers.

• Obtaining a Catalogue...
  

To bid for any of the number plates in this sale you will require a catalogue (priced £7) which can be obtained with a credit/debit card from 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO SALE DATE by calling our cherished registration hotline on 02890 342626 or by calling into our Mallusk Complex. The catalogue of numbers will also be posted on this webpage within one month of the coming auction.

• How to Bid...

Easily the best method is to attend the auction in person. On arrival go to the Registration Desk and request a registration form. Fill in your personal details & hand it back to the registration desk. You will be required to produce identification at this point. A member of Wilsons staff will issue you with a unique Bidder’s Number and then you are free to enter the Auction Hall.

All you have to do is hold up your Bidder’s Number. You do not have to worry about bids being taken if you scratch your ear or rub your eye! If your final bid is successful, the Auctioneer will read out loud your Bidder’s Number so you can check that he has the correct number.

By telephone
A telephone bid can be arranged. A member of Wilsons staff sitting in the Auction Hall will bid on your behalf. They will telephone you approximately 5 minutes before your lot is offered for sale. You can hear the Auction taking place and the member of staff will advise you of the bidding and then bid for you at your direction. To arrange a telephone bid please complete the Registration Form and forward to Wilsons at the address shown, together with a copy of your identification. Please note that the deadline for all telephone bids is 4.00 pm the Monday before the sale.

By post
A written bid can be sent to the Auctioneers, and they will bid on your behalf up to your limit. The bidding will not commence at the figure you give. Many people purchase registration numbers for figures well below the limit they put on the form. To arrange a written bid you will need to complete the Registration Form and forward to Wilsons at the address shown, together with a copy of your identification and payment method. Please note that a deadline exists for all written bids. (4.00 pm the Monday before the sale).
